The film follows Pavel “Pasha” Talankin, a primary school teacher and school videographer in a mining town in Russia’s Ural Mountains. The screening is part of “Basta Doku,” FilDocs’ ongoing program that showcases internationally acclaimed documentaries alongside award-winning and critically acclaimed Philippine documentary films. Each screening is followed by conversations and talkbacks that encourage audiences to engage more deeply with the stories and issues explored on screen.
