In fact, you can't even tiptoe cheesily on the rail. If you want to travel along the tracks, you will need to actually use the train. Like many of the other transport options in the game, you'll need to complete a specific tower to get the train up and running again. Below, we explain how to get the train running again, as well as how the train works in Big Walk. [Ed. note: This guide contains spoilers for Big Walk, so continue at your own risk!] How to unlock the train in Big Walk In order to get the train moving again, you'll need to complete the blue tower. The blue tower can be hard to spot initially, as it's on the other side of the mountain, if you're looking from the red tower. It's on the eastern half of the island. As with the other towers, you'll need to collect five of the red gourd-shaped collectibles that you receive after completing a challenge and place them into the compartments at the top of the tower. Then, take the key to the base of the tower and place it into the five keyholes to carve out the key, following the arrow to the next point. Eventually, you'll end up at an area overlooking the train tracks with a stationary red train in the distance. The trains move in a clockwise direction around the island, making no stops as it moves. There are several small train stations around the island, each with its own little train schedule hanging nearby. These will tell you how close the next train is to your stop, as well as the positions relative to any towers you've unlocked so far. You can also see one of these little maps on the back of the train. Image: House House/Panic via Polygon The train also has horns you can activate at the front, so you can signal your buddies if you get separated. There's also a lever that allows you to control the train's speed. It's automatically at its fastest speed, but you can also stop the train whenever you'd like.
