From the moment you start Duskfade, it'll be very clear that it's inspired by a number of classics from the PS2, such as Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank, and feels right out of that generation. There's one game that clearly played a much bigger role than the others - Kingdom Hearts. In fact, there are even some skins in Duskfade that let you wear that inspiration loudly and proudly. How To Unlock The Kingdom Hearts Sword Skin The first half of Duskfade's best outfit is the Shared Memories skin for Zirian's sword, the Minutero. This one is fairly simple to unlock, as you just need to purchase the Rainbow Ingot from the shopkeeper in central Tick Town, near the game's teleportation device. It doesn't cost much at all, either. To be able to actually equip this skin, you'll need to unlock the grappling hook, which is found towards the end of the first world. Once you've got it, head towards the Inn in Tick Town, and turn to the right before getting there. Grapple across this gap to reach the Blacksmith's anvil, where you'll be able to customise the Minutero. How To Unlock The Kingdom Hearts Outfit For Zirian Of course, the real star of the show when it comes to Duskfade's Kingdom Hearts skins is the outfit that's clearly inspired by Sora. The resource you'll need to get the outfit is called Flask of Dye (known as the Multicoloured Flask when you first pick it up), and there are tons of them hidden throughout the world to find. If you don't want to bother hunting around, though, you can buy one from the Tick Tock town shopkeeper. Once you've got the Flask of Dye, you'll need to progress far enough in the game to get the Pendulum, which lets you break orange crystals. This is unlocked near the end of the Underwater Academy, which is also where you'll find the outfit shop's owner, Tailord. Once you meet him, he'll return to Tick Tock. You'll need to smash the orange crystal below the sign that says "Hills" near the teleporter to reach Tailord. After talking to him, you'll just need to buy the World Hopper colour for Zirian's base outfit in exchange for a Flask of Dye and some crystals. Other outfits need you to find one of Tailord's kittens, but since the Sora costume is just a recolour of Zirian's base outfit, you'll be able to purchase it as soon as you go to Tailord's shop. Weirdly, Zirian's Sora outfit actually seems more inspired by Dream Drop Distance, despite that not being the most popular game in the series. The bigger focus on red is a dead giveaway!
