This achievement will unlock after finding any skull in the game. The easiest way to unlock this is to grab the first one in Pillar of Autumn. It will be on the catwalk platform to your right when you wake up in the Cryo room. Making a Necklace Collect 22 Skulls. This will unlock after collecting any 22 skulls in the game. There are 42 in total, so you'll need to collect a little over half. The three Bonus Skulls do not count towards this achievement. Headhunter Collect all 39 Skulls. There are 42 Skulls in the game, but this achievement specifically refers to the Skulls you need to find in each mission. The three bonus Skulls that you automatically unlock after finding any three Skulls do not count towards this achievement. Collector's Addition Find all Skulls and Terminals in the game. This is unlocked after collecting all 39 Skulls and 13 Terminals in the game. REMIX! Complete a Remixed Mission. After you find and collect any three Skulls in the game, you'll unlock the three bonus Skulls tied to Campaign Remix mode, which also unlocks Campaign Remix in general. Finish any mission in this mode to unlock this achievement. Beat the Drop Complete a Remixed Mission without dying. This is similar to the above achievement, but you'll need to finish a mission without dying while on Campaign Remix. Difficulty modifiers will prevent this achievement from unlocking, so turn them off. Mix Master Complete an entire Remixed Campaign without dying. Again, similar to the two achievements directly above this one, but this requires completing the entire campaign in Campaign Remix mode without dying once. Difficulty modifiers will prevent this achievement from unlocking, so turn them off. Bad Gas Destroy 100 Grunt backpacks. This should be unlocked by the time you finish the Campaign. If it isn't, then try hopping back into any mission on a lower difficulty and intentionally aiming for Grunt backpacks until the achievement unlocks. Plate Tectonics Break off 25 Hunter backplates. This likely won't be unlocked by the time you finish the campaign. So, it's recommended you head into The Silent Cartographer on Easy or with difficulty modifiers and track down the two that are on the way to the second building where you disable the security. You don't need to worry about completing the objectives and can head straight there at the start of the mission. These two Hunters are alone, which means you won't need to deal with other enemies, and you can easily restart the mission and keep fighting them until you unlock the achievement. New Whip Hijack 10 vehicles. While playing through the Campaign on any mission, try to avoid destroying Covenant vehicles like Banshees and Wraiths entirely. Instead, take out the enemy or disable the vehicle so you can take it. Even if you don't need the vehicle, go ahead and hop in it at least once so it will count towards the achievement. Disarmed Dismember 100 Flood parts. With the sheer number of Flood in the later missions, you should be able to unlock this without trying, but if you don't, it's recommended that you replay The Library since you won't have to deal with any other enemies in this mission aside from Flood. Claims Adjuster Break off 50 Vehicle parts. Once you have the New Whip achievement unlocked, you don't need to concern yourself with keeping Covenant vehicles intact, so unleash whatever you've got on every vehicle you see to destroy it. This includes vehicles not actively in use. Make The Count Kill 100 enemies with headshots. Pretty straightforward. If you struggle to unlock this achievement while playing through the campaign normally, then I recommend replaying missions on a lower difficulty with the Bottomless Clip modifier on to make it easier to take your time and focus on headshots. Hot Streak With the Floor is Lava Skull activated, beat a mission without jumping or dying. This one is a bit tricky because some missions, like Pillar of Autumn, require you to jump to progress. The easiest mission to complete this is The Silent Cartographer while on Easy. Frankly, the hardest part of this is to remember not to jump out of habit, so I recommend remapping Jump to an obscure button/key for this mission. This way, if you do press the normal Jump button/key, it won't do anything. Difficulty modifiers will prevent this achievement from unlocking, so turn them off. That said, you can still play on Easy. Even Tempered With the Temperamental Skull activated, beat Halo without upsetting anyone. You'll want to do this on Easy, but essentially, this Skull means you won't get any second chances if you accidentally hit one of your fellow Marines, they will turn on you immediately, and you won't get the achievement. This should be easy enough to avoid on Easy, but take things slow and be careful. Like Old Times Complete Two Betrayals with the Speed Limit, Endurance Spec, Hip Fire, and Armistice Skulls enabled. These Skulls mean you'll need to defeat Two Betrayals without Sprint or weapon zoom. UNSC vehicles cannot be damaged. And the Covenant and Flood will not fight each other. None of these Skulls directly impact your damage output or resistance, and they're overall meant to mimic what this mission would've felt like in the original game. So it's not impossible. Just run when you need to, even without Sprint, and fight when you have to. Difficulty modifiers will prevent this achievement from unlocking, so turn them off. That said, you can still play on Easy. Frugal Fire Equip Famine, Recession, and Johnny Ammo Tree Skulls and beat a mission without running out of ammo. These Skulls mean enemies will drop weapons with half the ammo, every shot will cost you twice the ammo, and reloading prematurely will toss the ammo remaining in the clip. It goes without saying that ammo will be your biggest limitation here, and since part of the achievement is reaching the end with ammo, I have to say that my recommendation is that you do this on Pillar of Autumn. The first part of this mission is without a weapon anyway, and you're given two weapons with full clips, so you won't have to rely on picking one up initially. There are also plenty of enemies, so even if they drop weapons with half the ammo, you should consistently have weapons to pick up. Just keep your Magnum in reserve and pretend it's not even there, so you won't accidentally end the run without ammo. Also, Sprint like hell. Difficulty modifiers will prevent this achievement from unlocking, so turn them off. That said, you can still play on Easy. MYTHIC Complete the Campaign with LASO enabled. LASO is a mode you'll unlock after completing the campaign for the first time. It stands for Legendary All Skulls On, but in reality, only 17 Skulls will be active. We have a tips guide specifically for this mode, but in short, play with a friend and expect to repeat missions. Don't attempt to kill everything and map your best routes to the end. Difficulty modifiers will prevent this achievement from unlocking, so turn them off. This Is My Ship Now Elimiate Captain Keyes and trap his six avenging Marines in the Autumn's observation pen. To unlock this achievement, you'll need to trap the six Marines that come to attack you below the pilots behind Captain Keyes. Map Quest Complete The Silent Cartographer without shooting, using grenades, melee, dying, or restarting. To unlock this achievement, you need to view this like a speedrun. Don't touch your weapons and sprint like hell. Difficulty modifiers will prevent this achievement from unlocking, so turn them off. That said, you can still play on Easy. That's My Ride On Assault on the Control Room, get to the Banshee before the Elite. This is immediately at the start of Rally Point Echo. As soon as you go out the door, you'll be looking up a metal ramp where some Elites and Banshees are. Just head up the ramp and hop into one before the Elite can get there. Arm's Length On 343 Guilty Spark, complete the first floor without taking a hit. This one is worded a bit strangely. It doesn't just include the first area after you take the elevator; it also includes everything before it. So the best way to do this is to play on Easy and take things slow. Watch your radar, but also listen for enemies and sidestep shots when you can. Keep as much distance as you can while firing at enemies and use grenades in areas where there are multiples. If you take even one hit, restart. Once you've made it through the first floor, the achievement will unlock. Clean Lap On The Maw, complete the warthog run without being forcibly ejected from your vehicle. Play on Easy and start from Rally Point Charlie. While you do have a time limit, it's a bit more generous than you think, so take things at an even pace and don't rush. Jiralhanae Conservationist On The Most Dangerous Game don't kill any rampaging Brutes. Now, a common misinterpretation of this achievement is people believing you aren't supposed to kill them at all. That's not the case. If you can get off headshots before they begin rampaging, then this will not affect the achievement. So avoid aiming for the chest. If they do begin rampaging, all you need to do is let an NPC take care of it. Don't finish it off yourself. Difficulty modifiers will prevent this achievement from unlocking, so turn them off. That said, you can still play on Easy. Food Critic Listen to the Thirsty Grunt talk about his eating habits. This achievement is unlocked during The Maw mission. I recommend just going back to the mission at Rally Point Charlie. During the Warthog run of this mission, you'll reach a point where Cortana asks you to stop and wait for your extraction team. Once that goes to hell, you'll continue forward and eventually reach another tunnel with shortcut paths. The first shortcut on your right side will be a dead end, but the second will have an offshoot to the right midway through where a Grunt will be standing. Listen to him give his spiel about a Food Nipple, and it should automatically unlock the achievement. All Shield, No Yield Complete any level on Heroic difficulty or higher without taking health damage. This is difficult, but it can be done as long as you monitor your shields properly. Just take things slow and give your shields a moment to recharge mid-fight; don't rush into fights. Also, as with most of these flexible achievements, Pillar of Autumn is the easiest way to unlock this. Especially with the overshields you'll find. Difficulty modifiers will prevent this achievement from unlocking, so turn them off. Fully Evolved Collect Every Trophy. Automatically unlocks when you've earned every other Trophy.
