Some of the games George has extensively covered first-hand include Dead Rising, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, Assassin's Creed Shadows, and Ninja Gaiden 4. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s 10th anniversary festival event not only has some exclusive unlocks for that game, but also some for next year’s Xenoverse 3. It’s honestly a little hard to believe, but today, October 25, marks exactly ten years since Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 launched. Considering the first game was only supported for less than two years before the sequel came along, it’s wild that Bandai Namco and Dimps have kept Conton City going with consistent and sizeable updates for so long. Now that we know the series is finally taking its next step with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 next year, Xenoverse 2 has steadily been wrapping things up, like with the release of its final story DLC earlier in the year. To mark the big decade milestone, an anniversary festival is about to be held, and taking part can even net you some exclusive items for Xenoverse 3. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s 10th Anniversary Festival Will Prep You For XV3 Here’s Everything That’s On Offer Earlier today, Bandai Namco announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s Final Festival of Universes, a free event that will go live in a few days on October 30. Alongside bringing back some rare items and making Star Coins easier to obtain, taking part in the event will award you with a special new gi, as well as a commemorative medal. Here’s where things get interesting. By getting those items, you’ll be able to unlock exclusive goodies in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3. The Final Festival Uniform (Gold) will unlock the Martial Arts Festival Outfit (Rare Color - Gold) costume in Xenoverse 3, while the Final Festival Uniform (Rainbow) that’s earned through Glory Points will unlock the Martial Arts Festival Outfit (Rare Color - Rainbow). Those outfits aren’t all, though, as unlocking Final Festival: Medal items in Xenoverse 2 will award unique acrylic figures for your hero’s room in Xenoverse 3. The character-specific medal you unlock in the festival will correspond with the acrylic figure you get in XV3, so getting the Goku medal will give you an acrylic figure of him. It looks like you can earn all of the medals, and therefore get all of the figures, based on the shot from the trailer. To transfer your rewards, you’ll need to create a Bandai Namco ID, select “Upload Link Data from Xenoverse 2’s main menu, scan the QR code to link the account, select the Link Data option again, and then use that same ID for Xenoverse 3. It’s a pretty simple process from the sound of things, so here’s hoping getting the medals and glory points next week is just as easy.
