How To Solve The Passage Of Malice In Crimson Desert

From the Ancient Ruins scattered throughout the world to the various towers you'll need to unlock, expect to spend quite a bit of time flexing your brain. Some of the most elaborate but important puzzles you'll need to complete are the various floating island chains in the Abyss. One of these is the Passage of Malice, which is accessible after you ascend the Spire of Frost. Passage Of Malice Solution When you arrive at the Passage of Malice, enter the chamber in front of you and look up to the left at the yellow switch. Use your Blinding Flash to focus the light onto the switch until it turns blue. This will activate the grate on the floor, moving it and giving you access to the room below. Hop down before the grate closes again and approach the room with four cubes lined up in a row on the left and right sides. Look to the right and use your Axiom Force on the circular switch. This will shift the camera and allow you to rotate the four cubes on the right side. While you have control, select the cube that is second from the left and rotate it until the railway that cuts through the middle of one side lines up with the other three cubes. This should create a complete line that goes through the middle of all four cubes on the right. Detach yourself from the right switch and then use Axiom Force on the left switch to gain control of the four cubes on that side. Rotate the two cubes in the middle of this line so both of their railway lines align with the cubes on the end. Once again, this should make a complete railway through all four cubes on the left. When you're done with this step, your cubes on both sides should look like the photo above. Now jump up onto the right set of cubes and look at the cubes to your left. Use your Axiom Force to grab the laser beam emitter on the far left cube and drag it to the middle of the cube that's second to the right. Release the emitter and hop across to the left cubes and repeat the process of dragging the emitter until it's in the middle of the cube that's second to the right. Be careful jumping across the gap, as there's no floor below and you'll plummet to the world below. This will force you to restart the puzzle from the start since you'll need to fast travel back. Your cubes should look like the photo above when you're done with this step. Go back to where you were controlling the cubes and use your Axiom Force to latch onto the switch that controls the cubes on the left. Rotate the cube that's second from the left until the yellow switch lines up with the laser beam firing at it. Release the switch and then grab onto the one that controls the cubes on your right. Again, rotate the cube that's second from the left until the yellow switch lines up with the laser beam. This should cause both switches to turn blue and activate, opening the door directly in front of you. Your cubes should look like the photo above when the puzzle is solved. Now make your way through the door across from you and look to your left. You'll see a floating rectangular Abyss Core right below the large circular switch. Grab it and slam it into the slot right below the switch to power it up. You can now perform a Force Palm strike on the switch to complete the Passage of Malice. Take the teleporter below the circular switch to reach the altar where the Abyss Artifact spawned. Beyond the altar, you'll want to make sure to snag the Fruit of Life embedded in the large tree before you leave. If you want to progress to the next island, just go through the triangular gate and use your Axiom Force on the podium to create a path.
