You will spend a lot of your time in Control Resonant fighting off paranatural enemies like the Hiss and traversing across the warped rooftops of Manhattan. However, you can miss quite a few collectibles and secrets if you're unwilling to explore different sections of New York City. One easily missed secret is the Sold Paintings puzzle in Evacuation Zone 2. This is something you won't want to miss, as there's a health upgrade and some collectible files for anyone who can solve it. Here is where the puzzle is located, how to complete it, and what you'll get for your troubles. Paintings Sold Secret Location To find the Paintings Sold puzzle, you will need to make your way to Evacuation Zone 2 and then go down the main road. There will be several Hiss Colliders hanging around outside, and you won't be able to go inside until all the Hiss are killed. This fight can be a little tricky if you're just starting, as the Hiss Colliders hit like trucks. Because of this, you will want to ensure you don't let them surround you, as it's easy for these big lads to stunlock you or get multiple hits at once. Additionally, try to keep your fight from getting the attention of the nearby Hiss further down the road. Having to battle both groups will lead to disaster and prove to be quite a challenge if you're not a high enough level. Once the Hiss are cleared, look on the left side of the road for a grey-colored storefront with a painted eye on the door. This will be the Konstig Gallery where you'll find the puzzle inside. Paintings Sold Puzzle Solution For this puzzle, you will need to highlight the correct paintings with each of the four spotlights along the wall. To start, read the note on the desk, which will inform you that the paintings that have been sold are: Journey, Windows, Thunder, and Tides. Unfortunately, the paintings on the walls are labeled, so you'll need to interpret which painting in each section is meant to represent. Starting with the left wall, hit the light switch on the column twice, so the spotlight is shining on the painting with the road leading to the tree. This is our Journey painting. Now, move clockwise along the back wall to the next group of paintings and hit the light switch on the left column once. This will shine the spotlight on the painting of the vines and branches forming several loops. This is the Windows painting. Continue moving clockwise to the collection of paintings in the back right corner of the gallery. We're looking for the Thunder painting, so hit the light switch once. This will cause the spotlight to shine on the painting with the lone tree forming a V shape in a field. Finally, move to the last set of paintings and hit the light switch twice, so the spotlight is on the painting of the tree hanging over the water. Upon putting the spotlight on the last painting, all of the lights will turn on, and the door in the back left corner of the room will unlock, revealing a staircase to the storage room below. Take the stairs down to find a room with a file and a Health Segment Upgrade chest on the right. Additionally, there are two more files if you take the hallway on the left to the secondary storage room with all the weapons. Unfortunately, you cannot take any of the guns with you, so grab the files and head back upstairs to finish this puzzle.
