Creek and Nathan are two of the easiest characters to miss in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. Their recruitment chain begins with an apparently ordinary Part 1 subquest, but neither man actually joins until Part 2. Missing that quest closes off both characters for the corresponding War Path. The chain is only available through Dietrich's and Leda's routes, and completing the quest for one protagonist does not make Creek recruitable in every version of Part 2. You must continue into the matching War Path, defeat Creek in Chapter 2, then use him to defeat Nathan in Chapter 3. Spoilers! This guide deals with Part 2: War. Which Routes Let You Recruit Creek And Nathan? Each Flame Lord has a separate version of Part 2: War, carrying forward the units and relevant progress from that character's Part 1 path. Consequently, finishing Creek's quest during Dietrich's route enables the recruitment chain in Dietrich's War Path, while finishing it during Leda's route enables the chain in Leda's War Path. Cai and Theodora will never be able to recruit Creek, who is required to recruit Nathan. Creek's quest is My Late Sister's Accessory, which shows up during the 'October' month of the year. It's a simple quest that sends you to Axion Gorge to recover an item for Creek. Doing this quest and then taking that quest's completion into Part 2 will enable Creek's recruitment there. How To Recruit Creek Continue from the qualifying Part 1 route into Part 2: War, rather than skipping that Flame Lord's War Path. Creek appears as an enemy during Chapter 2's battle, Taking Agris Stronghold. Defeat Creek in battle. You do not need to use a particular character or select a Talk command. If you completed My Late Sister's Accessory on this route, Creek acknowledges the debt and joins your army after he is defeated. If he does not join, the Part 1 quest flag was not active for the War Path you selected. How To Recruit Nathan Nathan's recruitment immediately depends on Creek, so make certain that Creek is deployed for Chapter 3's battle, Beyond the Salt Road. Nathan is not present at the beginning of the map. He arrives with the first group of reinforcements and begins advancing through the alleys on the right-hand side. Creek must personally land the final blow on Nathan. It is not enough for the pair merely to fight. Weaken Nathan with other units, taking care that nobody defeats him accidentally, then let Creek finish the battle. An accurate or cavalry-effective weapon helps, while a nearby healer keeps Creek safe as Nathan advances. When Creek deals the final blow, the pair have a conversation and Nathan withdraws instead of dying. Nathan formally joins the army when you return to the hub at the beginning of Chapter 4. If another unit defeats him, use Fortuna's Sand immediately and replay the turn before completing the map.
