The August bank holiday falls on Monday 31, so a cleverly timed week of annual leave can mean 10 days away from your desk. Including the weekend before, you’ll end up with a 10 day break between 22 – 31 August, despite only using five precious days of annual leave. Then we get to Christmas. Although the festive season may feel like a lifetime away in these temperatures, the yuletide period will soon roll around.
