Some of these relationships will naturally progress alongside the story as you're forced into certain interactions. However, you can miss out on maxing out almost every relationship in the game, including the romantic option, if you don't make it a priority. Which is why seeking out gifts when you have some spare change can be the one thing that saves your relationship. All Gifts And Where To Buy Them Since there are only a handful of places to shop in The Witch's Bakery, it shouldn't be too hard to track down gifts. That said, inventories are always changing as the game progresses, and you'll want to purchase them as soon as you can to ensure you have plenty of time to evaluate which relationships you're in danger of not maxing out. Gifts won't explicitly say they're a gift in the item's name, but you can easily spot them by looking for the present icon. Additionally, if you scroll over the item, you'll see an icon of who it is intended for. You cannot give gifts to anyone other than the person they're explicitly for. All the gifts listed below are in the order that they became available to me in the game. The first one is available shortly after you have access to Dans La Toile, and the last one is available just before the end of the game, after completing Kei's Palace. Thankfully, if you have a gift for someone, an option will pop up when speaking with them, but the game will not remind you to seek out that character. So, I recommend giving it to them right away so you don't forget to seek them out later. Not every character will have a story-related reason to return.
