Every point you've put into your weapons and talents will be given back to you, and you'll be able to swap combat abilities. However, as you may have noticed in the Gap, weapons, combat abilities, and talents are all separate, so you'll have to spend one reset item on each of them if you'd like to start over. In total, you'd need three reset items to start from a clean sheet, making your initial weapon, combat ability, and talent choices that much more important. Here's how to get reset items in Control Resonant, so you can freely swap your weapons, combat abilities, and talents. How to get reset items in Control Resonant You can get reset items in Control Resonant in four different ways: Purchase from a vendor for 5,000 source each Defeat a vending machine Defeat a resonant boss Get the highest score on an arcade machine Image: Remedy Entertainment via Polygon The vendor will be your easiest option to get reset items, as each vendor has one available for purchase at every vendor level — meaning you can purchase three reset items from every vendor. You will need to level up every zone, but that will come naturally as you explore, defeat enemies, and complete quests in the area. Image: Remedy Entertainment via Polygon Vending machines are your second-best option. If you see a vending machine out in town, give it a good swing. Some vending machines will be altered items that will give you a reset item once you defeat them. If you hit one, they'll run away, so you'll have to chase them down until you defeat them. They could run toward packs of enemies, so make sure to clear out the surrounding area when you find one. However, vending machines can be a bit tricky to find, as not every vending machine is an altered item and they're not marked on the map. Luckily, there is at least one in every area, so keep an eye out for any lone vending machines in the streets. Most are marked on the map for you, so you don't need to go out of your way to find their location. However, resonants are fairly difficult, as they're the boss fights in Control Resonant, and you're most likely using your reset items to deal with them in the first place. As you level up a zone, you'll unlock its arcade machine, which will require you to complete hard challenges and aim for a high score. These challenges will have you defeat enemies, protect cargo, finish a parkour course as fast as you can, and more. To get the reset item, you need to set the highest score on the machine, and some of these challenges can be extremely difficult at a low build power level. It's best to save the arcade machines for later on in your playthrough. We recommend fully leveling up your aberrant weapon forms and unlocking multiple combat abilities.
