The early game of Subnautica 2 can be very daunting, especially if you haven't played the first game in the series, since you not only have to get used to underwater mechanics, but also deal with a ton of information including the lore of the past colonies and different resources that you can get. Among these resources, the Fibrous Pulp is something that you'll need quite a bit in the early game, but you might not need it as much in the late game depending on your preferred food types. Thankfully, this item is quite easy to get once you have the right tool and know where to look. Subnautica 2 is in Early Access at the moment, which means that everything mentioned in this article might change in the future. How To Get Fibrous Pulp Before you start thinking about getting Fibrous Pulp in Subnautica 2, you first have to craft yourself a Survival Multitool, which can be done quite early in the game. Once you have this tool, you can head over to specific plants and use it on them to get Fibrous Pulp. The two main plants in the starter biome that give you this item are the Lucifer Rotsac and Macaron Sponge. You can find Lucifer Rotsac in abundance around the base. Even if you get rid of their branches for Fibrous Pulp, they'll respawn after a bit. On the other hand, if you want to farm Macaron Sponge, you can head 302 meters in the northeastern direction from the Lifepod at a 30-meter depth. There's a big group of Macaron Sponge on the rock surface at this location. Can You Get Fibrous Pulp In Axum Biome? In the second half of your Subnautica 2 gameplay, you'll be spending a lot of time in the Axum biome after crossing the gap with the Creature Leviathan in it. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of sources for Fibrous Pulp here. You can get a few of them from the Freesia Flower, which is a small flower that you can find in some locations. Alternatively, you can head over to the Research Facility 1,290 meters in the eastern direction from the Lifepod at a depth of 127 meters to see some Lucifer Rotsac on top of it, which can also be harvested for Fibrous Pulp. How To Craft Fiber Once you've acquired some Fibrous Pulp, you can easily craft some Fiber using the fabricator. This fabricator can either be found in the Lifepod or crafted using one of each Titanium, Quartz, and Copper, which is easily found. Open the fabricator and head over to the second section from the left, where the Fiber recipe will light up as long as you have Fibrous Pulp near you. Next Subnautica 2: Where To Find Silver Silver is one of the most difficult resources to find in Subnautica 2, but you can farm a lot of it once you find it.
