How To Get Ace Medals During The Top Gun Event In Battlefield 6

More importantly, he's still waiting for a new Ape Escape game to release. Battlefield 6's mid-season update has finally arrived, so fuel up your jet, load up the new Interdictor sniper rifle, and get ready to try and sink the enemy carrier. The big addition to this expansion is the Top Gun event, which introduces two new game modes, a weapon to unlock, and cosmetic rewards you can obtain just by playing. However, to actually obtain the new weapon, jet, and class skins, you will need to earn Ace Medals. This limited-time currency is tied directly to the Top Gun event, so if you want the cosmetics, here is how to unlock these medals and what you should grab first from the rewards. To get Ace Medals, you will need to complete Top Gun event challenges. These can be found by going to the Challenges tab in the main menu and then selecting the "Top Gun" subcategory. This will then list all the Ace Medal challenges available, what you need to do to complete them, and how many Ace Medals you get for completing them. Finishing Top Gun challenges is the only way to earn Ace Medals, so if you want any of the new cosmetics or the Interdictor sniper rifle, then you'll need to actually focus on beating them. Thankfully, many of the challenges will give you bonus progress towards them depending on the game mode you play, which can drastically speed up your unlock speed. Notably, some challenges have two options for completion depending on what mode or class you're playing. Completing one of the two options will finish the entire challenge and give you the Ace Rewards. The same goes for any challenge tied to both modes, as you'll never be required to play only the Battle Royale section of the game or the more chaotic multiplayer side. Make sure to pick what best suits you! Here is every single Top Gun challenge you can complete: Description Ace Medal Rewards All Modes: Get 120 Kills or Assists. Counts double on Carrier Strike or Battle Royale. 150 Ace Medals Multiplayer: Capture/Neutralize/ Arm/Disarm/Destroy 30 objectives. OR Battle Royale or Gauntlet: Play the objective 20 times in REDSEC. Completing missions in Battle Royale count double. 120 Ace Medals All Modes: Earn 75,000 points in any mode. Counts double in Battle Royale, 150 Ace Medals All Modes: Perform 30 Support Revives, Recon Spot Assists, or Assault Kills. Count triples in Battle Royale. OR Earn 75,000 Engineer Repair Points. Count triples in Battle Royale. 50 Ace Medals All Modes: Repair 500 vehicle damage. Aircraft repairs count double. 30 Ace Medals Multiplayer: Capture 15 objectives while in a vehicle. OR Gauntlet: Earn 2,000 objective score in Gauntlet missions 50 Ace Medals All Modes: Destroy or assist with destroying 10 Aircraft. Counts double in Aircraft. OR Battle Royale/Gauntlet: Get 10 Squad Wipes in REDSEC. Squad wipes in Battle Royale count double. 80 Ace Medals All Modes: Earn 5,000 score using vehicles. Counts double in Carrier Strike or Gauntlet Fighter Sweep. 50 Ace Medals All Modes: Deal 10,000 damage to enemies. Counts double in Battle Royale. 120 Ace Medals All Modes: Deal 4,000 damage to vehicles. Counts double to Aircraft. OR Battle Royale/Gauntlet: Qualify through 10 rounds of Gauntlet or get a Top 20 finish in Battle Royale. 80 Ace Medals All Modes: Deal 500 damage with Gadgets. 30 Ace Medals. Unlike Daily or Weekly Challenges, the Top Gun challenges will never refresh, and no new ones will be added in the coming weeks. Additionally, progression will carry from match to match, so don't worry about trying to complete an entire challenge at once. Many of these will just be finished as you play the game, as they directly tie into the normal moment-to-moment experience. That being said, I do recommend focusing on the new Carrier Strike mode if you specifically want to finish these challenges early. This is because a lot of them revolve around damaging or dealing damage to vehicles, with bonus progression tied to aircraft. There are a lot of aircraft in Carrier Strike, so it's pretty easy to complete a few of the Top Gun challenges in a single round if you're on a roll. Specifically, try to grab the AA Tank in Carrier Strike, as this absolutely shreds helicopters, which are abundant in this mode. There's also an additional challenge that rewards the Showtime player card icon for anyone who performs a Rendezook!!! during the event. This requires you to launch yourself out of a jet while airborne, destroy an enemy jet with a rocket launcher, and then safely get back into your jet before it hits the ground. Yes, it's exactly as difficult as it sounds, but you'll get a cool player card icon for your trouble!
