Some of the games George has extensively covered first-hand include Dead Rising, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, Assassin's Creed Shadows, and Ninja Gaiden 4. As you'd expect from the series that inspired a whole exploration-based genre, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse has an absolutely massive map that you'll spend a lot of time running back and forth through. The amount of backtracking can honestly get a little overwhelming at times and make you beg for an easy way to get around. As it turns out, there actually is one that the game really doesn't spell out for you. How To Fast Travel With Mirrors Of Life One of the most important things you'll need to keep an eye out for while exploring Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is Mirrors of Life. These big blue mirrors are basically save rooms for Rose that restore her health and set a respawn point for when you die. That's not their only use, though, as they can actually be used as fast-travel points. To activate fast travel from a Mirror or Life, you'll need to crouch near it for a few seconds, which will cause an animation to play that whisks Rose away to a room filled with mirrors. These mirrors represent the Mirrors of Life you've found across the map, and you can easily teleport to those other locations by crouching in front of them. Considering how many Mirrors of Life are scattered around the map in Belmont's Curse, they make for a very good method of fast-travelling and getting around easily. Of course, you'll still have to do some backtracking, but it's nowhere near as bad once you know what the mirrors can be used for. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that it took me well over 10 hours to figure out how the Mirrors of Life work. At least you won't have the same problem! How To Fast-Travel With The Ferryman Mirrors of Life aren't the only fast-travel method in Belmont's Curse, although the game will actually tell you about the other method. Early on in the game, Rose can encounter the Ferryman by going through a glowing blue door, which will unlock the ability to jump between any Ferryman's Wharf points you unlock on the map by going through the same glowing doors. The Ferryman will also become a Tarot card and give you a quest to find his coins, which is how you can unlock the Freezing Path Arcana. You'll need to find and activate each point to be able to travel there, and they're annoyingly sparse for such a big map, but the Ferryman is another great method of cutting down on some travel time. Combined with the Mirrors of Life, you've got a good few options for easily getting around Paris and Dracula's Castle.
