For the most part, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game's story mode is a fairly simple affair that basically just has you fighting other members of the roster over and over again. That being said, there are a few times when this pattern changes a bit, and the game has you going against an incredibly overpowered Fire Lord Ozai. Don't worry, though; there's an easier way. How To Easily Beat Fire Lord Ozai You'll face off against Fire Lord Ozai a good few times in the Avatar Legends story mode, but the version that will give you trouble is his superpowered state where he can fly around, shoot fireballs, and easily grapple you, which you'll encounter in Chapter 13-1, "The Titanic Duel", as Kyoshi and Chapter 21-3, "Loser Lord", as Sokka. You also get to play as this Ozai variant a few times in story mode, and he's as cheap as you'd expect since you can just fire projectiles endlessly. Beyond having a cheap moveset, Ozai is a big problem since he has armour and won't be stunned if you hit him with most normal attacks. That makes these encounters a massive pain and a bit of a roadblock in the story mode, especially since you have to defeat him twice in both the fight as Kyoshi and Sokka. While Ozai might seem like a big problem at first, there's actually a very easy way to cheese him and get past this fight without wasting too much time. Ozai may have armour against light attacks, but heavy attacks (Circle on PlayStation, A on Nintendo) affect him like normal, so you really just need to keep hitting him with them and keeping enough distance to avoid being grabbed for heavy damage. With Kyoshi, this is remarkably easy since her Backwards Heavy attack can be charged to reach great distances and deal a lot of damage, so you only need to keep spamming that attack to stunlock Ozai and completely drain his health bar. Kyoshi has a ton of heavy attack options too, so that's just one reliable method. Sokka is where things get a little more complicated, as he doesn't have as reliable a heavy attack to deal with Ozai. Your best bet is to use his neutral heavy attack, which is a swing that will knock Ozai away and deal decent damage. Just keep using that attack, stay far enough away to avoid grabs, and throw a light charged boomerang when there's distance between you to easily deal with Ozai again. Whatever you do, don't use the Super Duper Slash move, as Ozai will almost always counter it. It's also not really that damaging, so it's more worthwhile to keep using the neutral heavy instead.
