The ghosts of Phasmophobia are getting into the Halloween spirit, which means it is once again time to walk into haunted buildings for rewards instead of simply making better life choices. The Crimson Eye event is back for 2026. It brings Blood Moon weather, creepy Totems, spooky cosmetics, and a very pretty trophy to obsess over. There are plenty of event points to collect, and the good news is that most of the work involves doing exactly what you normally do: investigating ghosts and completing contracts. If you want to grab every Crimson Eye reward before the event ends, here's everything you need to know. What Is The Crimson Eye Event 2026? The Phasmophobia Crimson Eye event runs from October 8, 2026, until November 1, 2026. During this period, you can earn event points by completing contracts with Blood Moon weather. There are both community and personal goals to work toward. Community goals track the progress of the player base as a whole, while your personal progress determines which individual rewards you unlock. How To Earn Crimson Eye Event Points You can earn Crimson Eye event points by completing contracts with Blood Moon weather. Several different activities contribute points. This means you can make progress simply by playing normally and completing your investigation objectives. Activity Event Points Correctly identify the ghost 10 points + 1 per difficulty multiplier Complete an optional objective 3 points Interact with a Totem 2 points Your difficulty multiplier also matters when identifying a ghost. Contracts with a difficulty multiplier below 1x do not award event points, so make sure your selected difficulty qualifies before starting a contract. Which Maps Have Guaranteed Blood Moon Weather? Each day, four maps from the event's designated map pool are guaranteed to have Blood Moon weather. The eight maps that can receive guaranteed Blood Moon weather are: 6 Tanglewood Drive 42 Edgefield Road Grafton Farmhouse 13 Willow Street Bleasdale Farmhouse Point Hope Camp Woodwind Nell's Diner Because only four maps are guaranteed each day, you will want to check the available contracts before deciding where to investigate. They'll show a little red circle on those denoted as having Blood Moon weather. What Are The Crimson Eye Rewards? The Crimson Eye event has two community goals, with each one unlocking a reward for participating players. The first community goal rewards the Beholder ID Card. Completing the second community goal unlocks the Crimson Eye 2026 Charm and an Animated Beholder ID Card. You do not need to manually claim these rewards. Once the relevant community goal has been completed, the reward is automatically granted when you log in during the event. There are also five personal goals to complete during the Crimson Eye event. These progressively unlock the event cosmetics and upgrades for your trophy. Personal Goal Reward Additional Points Required Personal Goal 1 Crimson Eye Cosmetics 200 Personal Goal 2 Crimson Eye Trophy 100 Personal Goal 3 Trophy Upgrade I 700 Personal Goal 4 Trophy Upgrade II 1,000 Personal Goal 5 Trophy Upgrade III 1,500 You need a total of 3,500 event points to complete all five personal goals. How To Complete The Crimson Eye Event Fast The easiest way to make consistent Crimson Eye progress is to prioritize the maps with guaranteed Blood Moon weather each day. From there, correctly identifying the ghost provides the biggest single source of points, while optional objectives and Totems give you additional progress during the same contract. Since the event rewards stack across contracts, you do not need to do anything particularly unusual beyond playing eligible investigations and taking advantage of the extra opportunities available during Blood Moon weather. Just remember that contracts below a 1x difficulty multiplier will not award event points, so cranking the difficulty down for an easier investigation will not help your Crimson Eye progress.
