More importantly, he's still waiting for a new Ape Escape game to release. Arc Raiders: Frozen Trail has officially been released, so grab your Ferro, stock up on Shield Rechargers, and get ready to venture into this frozen hellscape. Along with new ARC enemies, weapons, and loot, there are several new quests for you to complete that are tied to the Pendola Pass map. One of these is Sizing Things Up, which requires you to not only use Arc Raiders' new camera item, but also examine various parts around the massive, destroyed Emperor. This one can be a bit tricky, so if you're struggling at all, here is everything you need to know so you can complete this quest in a single run. Take A Photo Of The Emperor's Leg The first step of this quest tasks you with taking a photo of the Emperor's Leg near Old Town. Now, the leg of the Emperor is basically the size of a skyscraper, which can make this a little tricky. Thankfully, there's a specific spot you can go to easily complete this step of the quest. First, make your way to the east side of Old Town and look for a large broken bridge that leads into town. When you arrive, go to either end of the bridge and equip your camera. Unlike previous photo-based quests, there's no specific indicator for where you need to stand. Instead, pick any area by the bridge, face the broken leg, and take a photo of it. You'll know you've done this correctly, as this step of the quest will automatically complete. Make sure to use our photo above for reference if you're having trouble getting this section to complete! Analyze The Exposed Leg At Railroad Junction Now that you've taken your photo, you will be given one of two objectives to complete. While you can find the probe by Almatera Station, the easiest of the two is analyzing the exposed leg that's south of Railroad Junction. Head to where the base of the leg meets the ground between Railroad Junction and the Controlled Receiving Facility. Upon arriving at the leg, climb up onto it and examine the hydraulic joint that connects to the foot. Keep in mind, this area often has a Bully patrolling through. Because of this, you'll want to do everything in your power to avoid attracting its attention — especially if you are solo. The Bully is relentlessly aggressive, has long-range missile attacks, and can quickly close the gap. Unless you're fully prepared to fight it, avoiding the Bully is often the best course of action. After analyzing the part, you will complete this step of the quest. Don't worry about the probe at Almatera Station; you won't need to complete it. Find The Buried Harvester Payload At The Base Of The Emperor The next step of Sizing Thing Up requires you to visit the base of the Emperor and dig up the Buried Harvester Payload. Located west of Piazza della Rupe, you'll need to climb up the hill of rocks and broken houses until you reach the area where you'd use a key to actually enter the Emperor. Reaching here will complete the "Reach the base of the Emperor" step of the quest, but you'll need to actually look for where the payload is buried. You can find this in the locker-looking container that is sticking out of the ground. It will be around various pieces of debris next to the path leading to the entrance to the Emperor. Approach the container and interact with it to obtain the ARC Conductive Coupler. Put this item in your Safe Pocket to ensure that you won't lose it upon your death and can still safely complete this quest. Finally, all you have to do is just extract with the quest item and speak with Celeste. Keep in mind, leaving Pendola Pass is a little trickier than other maps. First, you will need to interact with one of the radio beacons, which will call down a large pod that can fit a maximum of three Raiders. You can find where the pod landed by going in the direction the green light is pointing once it lands.
