Major story spoilers for Star Wars Zero Company ahead. So, you've survived Order 66 and the Coil, and now, all that's left to do is take the fight to Fathom. One more mission, and Star Wars Zero Company will be over. Star Wars Zero Company will warn you that you're entering the point of no return, and that is no lie. Once you start this mission, it's all over. It's a long one, with multiple back-to-back fights and no opportunity to swap out your party. Here's everything you need to know about taking on the final mission in Star Wars Zero Company. Unlocking The Final Mission: The Infinite Coil After progressing through the story enough, you will unlock the operation The Infinite Coil as part of the Fathom's Grand Design arc. Once you have access to The Infinite Coil, you have three cycles to complete it - meaning you have a short window to complete side missions before the game forces you to do the final mission. Spend your remaining time wisely. I highly recommend building up operator bonds so everyone is going into the mission with as many upgrades as possible. The Infinite Coil Walkthrough First things first, you've got to decide who you're bringing with you. Hawks is mandatory and must survive the mission, leaving you with three free slots. Don't make my mistake of padding it out with main characters, hoping for additional content; there is none, outside of some one-liners between fights, and their usual reactions to completing a task or killing an enemy. During most of The Infinite Coil, you're going to value operators who can deal area-of-effect damage. You can do this with Cly's unique abilities, making her a strong contender. But another way to make sure you're not getting swarmed is to be able to take down units in a single turn. For that reason, I recommend taking Jae, because her Final Shot ability can pick off anyone who's on low health, meaning you don't have to waste a turn making sure they're dead. The final slot really depends on your Hawks. If they don't have any healing capabilities, bring a medic - one who can instantly revive someone to full health. Otherwise, consider a soldier like Trick, who can deal massive amounts of damage. Disembark And Get To The Security Terminal Your first step is finding a security terminal. This is easy enough; just keep following the objective. You can read a datapad on the way to pick up some intel. Once you unlock the marked door, you'll enter your first combat encounter. Here, your objective is to get someone to the terminal. I recommend having Cly combat jump over to the enemies nearby, since this will deal damage to them, and leave her with enough AP to get to the terminal in one round. Then, use everyone else's turns to attack the remaining enemies, and get them ready for the next waves. Reinforcements will come from doors on the left and the top of the room. I recommend keeping at least one operator close to whoever you sent to the terminal, since any enemy who gets too close will interrupt the process. If that happens, you want them gone very quickly. Once the first wave of reinforcements arrives, you're told that more are already on their way. You'll want to deal with them quickly before they all start to pile up. Luckily, many of them are weaker droids that can be taken out with one shot. If you've got area of effect attacks, you can now start to make the most of them. Keep whoever is on the terminal there until the process is complete. Then, they're free to move around again, and help their teammates deal with the rest of the enemies. Defeat Typhon Once you've beaten that battle, you'll keep heading through the station. Keep following the objective to reach a turbolift that takes you to the command mast. Along the way, you can scope out the large window for +10 intel. When you reach your next objective, you will be ambushed by Tython - Fathom's droid partner in crime. Your goal in this encounter is to defeat Tython and all of his allies. Tython himself won't appear immediately, as you'll get three rounds before he turns up. Use this time to take out as many of his allies as you can. You can do this by making the most of area-of-effect attacks, but I would make sure you still have some for later on in the fight. The sniper droids get more powerful every turn, and can deal massive damage at Typhon's behest, so you may want to get rid of them first. Once Tython appears, do not attack him straight away unless you can tank damage yourself. In retaliation for taking damage, he will order one of his droids to attack you right back. Instead, keep focusing on his allies, getting rid of a good amount before chipping away at his damage. If you have a medic, you can try and keep chipping away at Typhon while you also deal with the other enemies. This way, you can remove him and his abilities from the equation earlier on. However, you have to defeat everyone for the encounter to end, not just Typhon. Defeat Fathom With Typhon defeated, it's time to take on the final boss: Fathom. As you would expect from a final boss, Fathom's fight comes in multiple stages. You will trigger the next stage by getting her to half health, which changes the battleground - but more on that in a bit. The first stage of the fight sees you fight Fathom and her allies. You can ignore all of the Coil and only focus on Fathom, she is the only one you need to defeat. Once she is at half health, a cutscene will play, showing Bennic join the fight. The next stage of the fight is much the same - just take down Fathom and ignore everyone else. You even have access to Bennic now, making it even easier. Play your cards right, and you can take Fathom out in one turn. I did this by having everyone damage her, including having Cly battle jump in to deal some damage without using up AP. Additionally, I positioned Jae so she could get the final shot in automatically when Fathom was on low health. The only consideration you really need here is where you place Hawks. Fathom will be able to control Hawks and make them attack teammates - and probably deal a lot of damage, if you've been levelling up your Hawks. For this reason, keep Hawks far away from both Fathom and their teammates. If Hawks deals some damage, Bennic can heal them when he joins the party. With Fathom defeated, a cutscene plays out, showing her influence leave her victims. Bennic rejoins the team, and then you all head back to The Den for the epilogue.
