How nobody is safe from Erling Haaland’s jibes as Man City star targets rivals and TEAM-MATES alike

ERLING HAALAND is not just a menace for opposition defenders on the pitch. He can also be a handful for his own team-mates off it. The £116million midfielder was dubbed “the diver” by his new club team-mate after clashing with him during the World Cup match between England and Norway. Torbjorn Heggem pounced on a rebound from a corner to give Norway a 2-1 lead in the second half. But that goal was ruled out after Haaland was found to have pushed Anderson to the ground as the ball was sent in. The striker branded the decision as “weak” at the time and revisited the incident a month later by taking to Instagram to share that he was back in Manchester. One person commented: “Greet Anderson for me,” before Haaland replied: “The diver?” Fans were left in stitches after spotting his response. The striker has also mocked Jack Grealish and Phil Foden in social media videos, commenting on their fashion and hair styles. Haaland previously joked that he “without a doubt” has better hair than Grealish. The pair also mocked Ruben Dias for being the “biggest fraud” in a social media video. And Foden joined Haaland and Grealish in taking aim at Manchester United following a derby day victory in October 2022, with all three commenting: “Manchester is Blue.” Furthermore, when maths genius Manuel Akanji was at the club, it’s been reported that he would sometimes attempt to catch him out by asking difficult questions. But his Man City team-mates are not the only subjects. On the international stage, he also confronted fellow Norway star Thelo Aasgaard for a missed pass during a training session before laughing it off.
