How Many Seasons of ‘Off Campus’ Will There Be?

Fun fact, your new favorite show Off Campus is an adaptation of merely one book in Elle Kennedy’s best-selling hockey romance series, meaning there’s source material for multiple seasons. But how many is Prime actually going to make?There are four main Off Campus books: The Deal is about Garrett and Hannah, The Mistake is about Logan and Grace (who was just cast), The Score is about Dean and Allie, and The Goal is about Tucker and Sabrina.Then there’s The Legacy, which is composed of four novellas about our main couples and teases, “a wedding, a proposal, an elopement, and a surprise pregnancy.”Nothing official has been announced just yet, but showrunner Louisa Levy says there are plans for the first four books at least.“We’ll make as many as Amazon pays us to make,” Louisa told The Wrap. “We can keep going for multiple generations. For now, we’re going to focus on the first four books. The Legacy, of course, is the fifth book, but it’s kind of like novellas … I don’t know that book by itself can sustain a full season, but that doesn’t mean that pieces of it can’t be in the show. But the first four books, absolutely, I have plans for. Beyond that, we’ll see what Amazon pays us to do.”Keep in mind that there’s also Elle Kennedy’s Briar U series, a spinoff of the Off Campus books about some of the supporting characters—including Hunter Davenport (aka the guy Allie hooked up with) and Summer DiLaurentis (aka Dean’s sister). In other words, there’s a lot of source material to work with!
