How Lidl customers can bag 10% off every week with new app deal

LIDL shoppers can get their hands on 10% off every Wednesday with a new app deal. From this Wednesday shoppers will be able to save 10% off one item from the supermarket’s Live Well range. There are hundreds of products in the range, including vegetables, salmon fillets and yogurt. The deal will run until September 2, so to get it you’ll need to be quick. Sign up for the Money newsletter Thank you! To get the offer you’ll need to download the Lidl Plus app. Next you’ll need to activate a coupon in the app before scanning it at the checkout. The news comes as almost seven in ten Brits believe eating healthier comes at a higher cost, according to research commissioned by Lidl. Meanwhile, nearly half of those surveyed admitted they had opted for a less healthy choice in the past year as it’s cheaper. Richard Bourns, chief commercial officer at Lidl GB, said: “Our research shows people want to make healthier and more sustainable choices for the planet, but often affordability stands in the way.” It’s not the only scheme Lidl is running to help households save money this summer.
