Sadie returned to the village shortly after Jimmy King’s (Nick Miles) death. She claimed that she was back to pay her respects, but the likes of Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) knew that Sadie was probably hiding something. She was – and what a shocker it turned out to be. Sadie told Nicola that she had secretly been in a relationship with Jimmy for three years, and even showed her pictures of them together as proof. Sadie is now busy working with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) to locate a large amount of cash that Jimmy has hidden. As their plan continued this week, Sadie managed to spot Cain across the road. After working together, things developed between Cain and Sadie, leading to an affair. Instead of leaving together, Cain stole Sadie’s £2 million, departed the village, and left Sadie with nothing.
