Houthis target Riyadh airpot, declare Saudi airspace open target except for holy sites

The Iran-affiliated Yemeni group targeted King Khaled International Airport in the Saudi capital Riyadh for the second time on Monday. The statement said the strike was precise and disrupted air traffic at the airport. The strike comes after the Houthis issued an earlier warning on Monday against using Saudi airspace. "The Saudi skies are open theatre for our operations, except for the holy airspaces of Makkah and Madinah," the Houthi warning said. "We disclaim all liability for the consequences of ignoring our warnings against continuing to use the Saudi airspace," it added.
