Houthi attack kills four people as Yemeni government forces make gains in al-Jawf and Taiz

A ballistic missile attack which hit Hayfan in Yemen's Taiz governorate, killed four Yemenis from the same family, including three children, on Wednesday. Yemen’s Saudi-backed government's state media reported that four others, also from the same family, were injured after their home was targeted by Houthi fighters, and number of homes nearby were also damaged. Yemeni government forces said in a statement on X that they have made territorial gains in al-Jawf province, seizing several Houthi positions, and repelled Houthi attempts to recapture lost positions in Taiz governorate, according to a Yemeni military spokesperson.
