STARSHINE LEGEND (3.57 Fontwell, nap) Olly Murphy’s hurdler took a big step forward when winning on handicap debut at Worcester last month. JM JUNGLE (3.15 Beverley, nb) Has been running with credit in Group 1 races so should be hard to beat on this big drop in class. He won the Listed Bullet here two starts ago and goes on any ground. This is his favourite distance and he’s copped a handy draw. It will be a surprise if anything can catch him. SUPREME CLARETS (4.25 Beverley, treble) Can land a winning hat-trick after a game effort in the mud here last time out. He is right at home over this trip and a 3lb rise in the weights really shouldn’t stop him scoring again from stall one. Templegate’s tips BEVERLEY 1.30 Star Suepreme – Drops into Class 6 after winning here on good ground, major player. 2.05 Arthurian – Drops into Class 3 and handles good ground well, expect a bold show. 2.40 Star People – Went close at Musselburgh last time and looks primed for another big run. 3.15 JM Jungle (NB) – Drops into Class 2 after staying on strongly last time, must go close. 3.50 Battenburg Belle – Catterick winner arrives with plenty going for her. 4.25 Supreme Clarets (TREBLE) – Progressive course winner looks capable of taking plenty of stopping. 5.00 Obelix – A previous Class 3 winner at York, he has the class to strike here. 5.35 Amber Hamur – Two wins from his last four and previous course form make him a leading player. WARWICK 1.55 Kiwi De Cotte – Drops into Class 4 and the longer trip could bring further improvement. 2.30 Malinas Glory – A Class 4 winner here in May, he looks primed for another big run. 3.05 Tralee Girl – September maiden winner drops into Class 4 and looks a strong contender. 3.40 Dunkerque – Finished strongly last time and this longer trip looks ready to play to his strengths. 4.15 Guts And Glory – Stratford maiden winner is 3lb clear and sets a strong standard here. 4.48 Back In The Bay – Fakenham maiden winner steps up in trip and can make his presence felt again. FONTWELL 2.12 Virtual Rock – Listed winner at Longchamp drops into Class 4 and looks an intriguing contender. 2.47 Jet Smart – Worcester novice winner has already shown his ability and looks the one to beat. 3.22 Causing Problems – Steps up in trip and class with plenty of scope to make the transition. 3.57 Starshine Legend (NAP) – Won at Worcester last time and looks capable of striking again here. 4.32 Flashy Boy – August’s Newton Abbot novice winner looks ready to deliver another bold performance. 5.07 Lady Fortune – Two wins from her last four underline her progress and give her a big chance. SOUTHWELL (AW) 4.20 Flight Tracker – Drops into Class 3 and has already shown he handles this trip well. 4.55 Kalokalo – Proven over course and distance on standard, he looks set for another strong showing. 5.30 Vincent Rocks – Previous Southwell novice winner drops into Class 4 and commands serious respect. 6.00 Ma Blushin Rosie – Two encouraging efforts so far and only modest improvement could be enough. 6.30 Merry – Runner-up at Kempton last time and proven on standard, she should go close. 7.00 My Mate Mackley – Previous course form and a first-time hood could help unlock another big effort. 7.30 Fabled Spirit – September’s Lingfield Class 6 winner arrives with strong claims of another success. 8.00 Managing Director – Has winning form over this trip and looks capable of another major say. 8.30 Urchin – Ripon novice winner has placed since and looks capable of a big run here.
