Horror moment ‘Brit tourist’, 21, knocks out man after grabbing his neck & repeatedly kicking him in head in Budapest

THIS is the moment a tourist knocked a man unconscious after throwing him to the ground and repeatedly kicking him in the head. Dashcam footage shows the unsuspecting victim, 43, walking across the road before a man suddenly runs towards him and grabs him around the neck. The horror attack happened near the Vigszinhaz theatre on a busy street in Central Budapest, Hungary. A police officer who happened to be passing on a bike at the time sprung into action after witnessing the violent approach and can be seen drawing what appears to be a handgun. Footage appears to show the suspect being handcuffed as the group holds him down. An ambulance that also happened to be passing the scene stops almost immediately beside the injured pedestrian. Witnesses said the victim regained consciousness inside the emergency vehicle but appeared confused and did not know what had happened. Hungarian media said the suspect was a 21-year-old British tourist who had allegedly chased three other people shortly before the attack. Police apprehended him at the scene and questioned him on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He reportedly told investigators that he couldn’t remember anything about the incident because he had been heavily intoxicated. Police did not place him in custody and he is under investigation. The motive for the attack remains unclear. It comes as a holiday brawl over a sunbed ended in tragedy after a pensioner refused to give up one of his six loungers and died. The victim, 82, died from a heart attack after a fight with another man at Vouliagmeni beach, near Athens, Greece. One witness said the scene was pure “chaos” and that he could hear screams from the other end of the beach. A man, 76, has since been arrested and charged with causing fatal bodily harm. Comment now
