Horrifying moment plane crashes nose-first into ground seconds after taking off – before pilot makes miracle escape

THIS is the horrifying moment a plane plunges nose-first into the ground just seconds after take-off – before the pilot miraculously escapes. Moments later, the aircraft smashes nose-first into the field in a terrifying impact. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! The horror crash unfolded in the rural area of Perdices, Entre Ríos Province, Argentina, at around 1.30pm yesterday. The single-engine plane had been spraying fertiliser over farmland when it suddenly plunged from the sky. Emergency crews raced to mangled wreckage as a small fire broke out following the impact. Firefighters from Ceibas, around 22 miles away, battled the blaze and managed to extinguish the flames. Amazingly, the pilot survived the smash and was pulled from the wreckage alive. The pilot, who lives in Avellaneda in Greater Buenos Aires, was rushed to Hospital Centenario in Gualeguaychú for treatment. The aircraft was left destroyed by the brutal impact, while nobody on the ground was injured. Cops have now launched a probe into what caused the plane to suddenly dive towards the field. Early police indications pointed towards a possible mechanical fault, although investigators have yet to establish the exact cause. Officers are examining the twisted wreckage and questioning witnesses as the investigation continues. The pilot’s identity has not yet been released. It comes after at least five people were killed and five more injured when an Amazon cargo plane ploughed off a runway and smashed into cars at Miami Airport. The Boeing 767-300 cargo jet overshot the runway before crashing into several vehicles, sparking fierce fires on the aircraft and the ground. Harrowing footage showed huge columns of smoke billowing into the sky in the aftermath of the devastating crash. Other video appeared to show the cargo jet touching down far along the Miami runway, leaving it without enough space to stop before careering beyond the airport perimeter. Local Mayor Daniella Levine Cava confirmed five people had died and another five were injured, including three in “critical condition”, on what she called an “incredibly difficult” day. She warned locals to stay clear of the disaster zone, describing it as “still a very active scene”. Some victims were trapped inside their vehicles after the aircraft struck them, Miami-Dade County fire chief Ray Jadallah told reporters. Jadallah said rescuers were forced to carry out “a complex extrication with our technical rescue team”, which included “a search and rescue of the pilot and co-pilot that were trapped in this aircraft.” Comment now
