Another person was rushed to hospital in serious condition. The official cause of the crash has not yet been determined, and the National Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation. The Eurocopter AS350 was being operated by Angel City Air for NBC4 and had been providing aerial coverage of another tragedy unfolding in Chatsworth. Veteran NBC4 anchor Colleen Williams appeared teary-eyed as she was forced to confirm live on air that the downed aircraft belonged to the station. She said: “We knew it was a news chopper. But officials said one of those killed appeared to have been outside the chopper when it crashed.
