High school footballer finds venomous snake inside his helmet

00:53In a terrifying incident in Arkansas, USA, a high school football player found a venomous snake inside his helmet during practice on Thursday (6 August). The Maumelle High student noticed something unusual moving inside his helmet after warmups, telling an assistant coach that it felt “funny.” A two-foot pit viper was found hiding behind the helmet’s padding, as the student’s coach revealed “ it had got wedged between the padding and the outer shell”.Police officers eventually had to submerge the helmet in water to coax the snake out before safely removing it with tongs. Animal services identified it as a cottonmouth and relocated it to a wooded area away from the school.Up next
