Here’s Why “Patient Zero” Isn’t on YouTube Yet, and When to Expect It

The “Patient Zero” video is here! Buuuut it’s not on YouTube.Taylor Swift typically drops all her music videos on YouTube, but fans who ran to Tay’s page watch “Patient Zero” after it premiered at the 2026 VMAs were fresh out of luck. As of now, the video is only available on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. I wanted to incorporate elements of gothic ghost stories, true crime, psychological thrillers all in a setting I hadn’t really shot in much. The house was a metaphor for the coldness of a relationship that’s faded and atrophied. Thank you to @ethantobman for your insightful production design, and bringing that feeling to life.
