The guest list for Xi Jinping‘s state dinner is dominated by giants of tech and business, as artificial intelligence is among the most pressing concerns for President Donald Trump and the Chinese president during his visit to Washington.The dinner comes midway through the three-day visit, which started with Trump meeting Xi at Joint Base Andrews, a rare demonstration of respect, on Wednesday before an arrival ceremony at the White House on Thursday, followed by a Rose Garden military review and their bilateral meeting in the Oval Office as the first lady and Xi’s wife, Peng Liyuan, participate in a separate event.
