This vibrant new set may not be the biggest expansion that the game has seen, but it's got some stunning new showcase cards, and with that comes some serious value. Whether you're hunting for new cards to bling out your competitive deck or just want to know which hits to watch for when ripping packs, here's the list of the most valuable cards from Riftbound Radiance. 10 Yone, Blademaster Heartsteel Overnumbered - $155 First up on this list is Yone, Blademaster, a champion unit that costs five energy to cast (with a power cost of one orange) and has a might of five. He comes equipped with the Weaponmaster ability, meaning that whenever he conquers an uncontrolled battlefield, you can have him deal damage equal to his current might to a target unit in a base. All card prices are taken from TCGPlayer market value at the time of writing and are subject to change. This is a very disruptive card if played right, but it requires some setup, such as ensuring there is an open, unoccupied battlefield for him to conquer and that an opponent has a unit in their base. When it works, though, it's a real game-changer. This version is an Overnumber card, meaning its card number is higher than the set's total card count. In this case, its number is 187, even though the set contains only 167 unique cards. As for the artwork, it was inspired by Yone's role in the virtual KPop band Heartsteel. 9 Orianna, Lady Of Clockwork Overnumbered - $160.96 Next up is Orianna, Lady of Clockwork, one of nine new Legend cards in the Radiance set. Legend cards are typically quite valuable and lead your deck, determining which rune colors it can use and which units it can include as your chosen champion. In the case of Orianna, she's a blue and green Legend who lets you pay one to turn a gear you control into a unit with might equal to its energy cost. The chosen gear is a unit until you choose to select another gear to modify instead. 8 Ezreal, Dashing Overnumbered Heartsteel - $200 Next up is another overnumbered Heartsteel card: Ezreal, Dashing, valued at $200. This champion unit costs four energy (with a power cost of one blue) to play and enters play with a might of three. Ezreal doesn't deal combat damage; instead, he deals damage equal to his might to an enemy unit when he attacks or defends. He also has an action that lets you move him to your base for the cost of one blue rune. This card definitely requires a bit of thought and strategy to ensure you're able to maximize the damage that Ezreal can do while ensuring he doesn't end up in your trash, defeated. 7 Mordekaiser, Iron Revenant Overnumbered - $224.15 We're flipping back to another Legend card next with Mordekaiser, Iron Revenant, and the overnumbered variant of this card. He is a red and yellow Legend with a reaction ability that lets you banish a unit or gear card from your trash, and tap him to add one energy of any color, which can only be used to play a unit or gear card. 6 Evelynn, Agony's Embrace Overnumbered - $298.33 The rest of this list consists almost entirely of Legend card variants, starting with Evelynn, Agony's Embrace. This orange and purple Legend lets you draw a card whenever you play a card from face down, once per turn. If it isn't your turn, you must then discard a card. It's curious to see that this card has already suffered quite a big drop in value, with a confirmed sale at $400 before dropping to its current value of just under $300. 5 Seraphine, Starry-Eyed Songstress Overnumbered - $315 Next's another overnumbered Legend: Seraphine, Starry-Eyed Songstress, a blue and yellow Legend that lets you exhaust it and three friendly units to reduce the cost of your next spell by two energy. As useful as it is to lower the cost of spells, especially those that have the ability to be game-changing, exhausting three units and this Legend is quite a steep cost. It feels like this card should do a little more, like offer some card draw, but it's still highly playable if you can build the right deck around it. 4 Riven, The Exiled Overnumbered - $472.14 There's a pretty steep jump up in value for the next card, Riven, the Exiled, and for good reason. This green and purple Legend lets you play units to battlefields you control ready, meaning you won't have to wait until the following turn to use abilities that require exerting them. At just over $470, this card is expected to drop in value, perhaps once the signature versions start to circulate more regularly. 3 Orianna, Lady Of Clockwork Signature - $500 Orianna is back, but this time it's the signature version of her Overnumbered card. Signature cards feature a stylized on-card signature from the artist, which in this case is Ahn Dang. All signatures are printed, not individually signed, so these cards typically gain value because they are so scarce. 2 Aphelios, Exalted Signature - $993.25 A new inclusion entirely, Aphelios, Exalted is a champion unit and another member of Heartsteel, but more specifically, it's his signature card that has landed in the top three most valuable cards in Riftbound Radiance. He has major synergy with equipment, as whenever you attach one to him, you may choose one of the following three options that hasn't already been picked that same turn: Ready two runes Channel one exhausted rune Buff a friendly unit It's easy to see why this unit is popular, and it's more than just the artwork and signature doing the heavy lifting for its value. Granted, we can't see this card sticking around at the $1k mark for too long, but that could depend on how many come into circulation over the coming months. 1 Mordekaiser, Iron Gauntlet Signature - $999.99 Mordekaiser is back again with his signature card variant. There isn't a huge gap in value between Aphelios and Mordekaiser, so we expect the two cards to potentially switch around over the coming weeks. It's also worth mentioning that many signature cards don't have listings yet because the Radiance set is too recent. As these cards are pulled from packs and start showing up on resale websites, long-term prices will become much clearer.
