Value and Disney Lorcana don't often go hand-in-hand, although some popular cards from the game's short history have become extremely desirable over time. However, with Attack of the Vine, the initial value of cards from this set is a little higher than usual, thanks in part to ongoing availability issues that are sure to tighten the population of the cards in the short term. For now, I've scoped out the ten most expensive Attack of the Vine cards, taking the figures from TCGPlayer market value and eBay sold listings where possible. 10 Maleficent & Diablo, Evil Incarnate Enchanted - $202 This list comprises almost entirely of duos, most of which are enchanted, and starts with Maleficent & Diablo, a seven-ink Amethyst and Steel card. It has a Shift cost of five, six strength, and five willpower. The card also has two abilities, the first of which is Fools! This lets you put five character cards from your discard pile onto the bottom of your deck in any order, and if you do, it acts as the Shift cost and lets you play Maleficent & Diablo for free. The other ability is Raven's Call, and this lets you draw a card whenever a character exerts on your turn. It's a good indicator that this set is carrying some value when we're inside the top ten most expensive cards and already over $200. 9 Mike Wazowski, Heroic Climber Enchanted - $241 The only solo character on this list, Mike Wazowski, is an Amber card that costs just two ink to play, but cannot be used in your inkwell. He has no strength and four willpower while also questing for one lore point. This card has one ability, Find a Friend, which states that when you play this character and whenever he quests, each player reveals the top card of their deck, and if it's a character card, they may put it into their hand. Otherwise, it goes on the bottom of their deck. 8 Peter Pan & Tinker Bell, Fast Friends Enchanted - $267 Next up is Peter Pan & Tinker Bell, Fast Friends, a six-ink Amethyst and Ruby character that has five strength and four willpower. It can also quest for two lore points. This card also has a Shift cost of four alongside one ability called You Can Fly!, which gives all your characters Evasive, meaning they cannot be challenged unless the challenging character also has Evasive. 7 Sulley & Boo, Scare Buddies Enchanted - $295 Sulley & Boo is next, a six-ink Amber and Ruby card that can lore for two quest points while also having six strength and five willpower. It has a Combo Shift cost of four ink and one ability in the form of The Power of Friendship. This ability states that when the card is banished, if any of the cards underneath it are character cards, you may play those characters from your discard for free. This is great discard manipulation that lessened the risk of casting a character for its Shift cost. 6 Rapunzel & Flynn, Unlikely Pair Enchanted - $354 Rapunzel & Flynn Rider is a five-ink Emerald and Steel card with four strength and willpower, and it can quest for two lore points. This is yet another card that comes with a Shift cost, and for Rapunzel & Flynn it's three ink. This card also comes with two abilities, Clever Swap and Fresh Start. Clever Swap lets you draw and discard a card whenever this character quests, while Fresh Start lets you play a character card from your discard provided you've discarded it that turn. 5 Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse, Adventuring Duo Enchanted - $364 Perhaps the most iconic duo of all within Disney, Mickey & Minnie is a seven-ink Emerald and Sapphire card with five strength and willpower. It also has a Duo Shift cost of zero. Its only ability is called Thinking of You, and means that if the card is banished, rather than going to your discard pile, it is instead put into your inkwell face down. 4 Woody & Buzz Lightyear, Best Buddies Enchanted - $442 From one epic duo to another, Woody & Buzz Lightyear is a huge seven-ink Amber and Emerald card that can quest for three lore points and has a strength and willpower of four. It also has a Shift cost of five. This card also has two abilities, one called To Infinity and the other called And Beyond. To Infinity lets you choose an opponent, and if that opponent has more cards in their hand than you, you may draw the difference. And Beyond states that whenever this card quests, you may play a card with a cost of two ink or less for free from your hand. 3 Winnie The Pooh & Piglet, Hunny Mages Enchanted - $674 The most expensive enchanted card from Attack of the Vine right now is Winnie the Pooh & Piglet, a five-ink card with three strength and four willpower and a Shift cost of three, but no fixed lore points. This is because its ability, Magical Mix, grants this character one lore point for each different ink type among characters you have in play. This card revolves around the Hunny-type cards, which allow you to have all Hunny types in one deck, regardless of what ink color they are. 2 Belle & Beast, Certain As The Sun Iconic - $2,997 We're onto Attack of the Vine's iconic rares now, and up first is Belle & Beast. This stunning card costs eight ink but cannot be used in your inkwell. It also has a Shift cost of six, and enters with six strength and seven willpower while questing for three lore points. This card also has two abilities, the first of which is Inspiring Dance, which lets you ready your entire inkwell when this character quests. The second ability, Appreciative Audience, lets you pay six ink to ready all of your characters, but they cannot quest until your next turn. This card's value is based on a confirmed sale on eBay from July 21, converted from GBP to USD. 1 Lilo & Stitch, Fun Loving Friends Iconic - $4,260 Finally, we have the most valuable card from Attack of the Vine in Disney Lorcana: Lilo & Stitch. This five-ink Amber and Steel card is fairly straightforward, entering play with three strength and five willpower while questing for three lore points. It also has a Shift cost of three, Resist +1, and Support. This means you can negate one damage done to this card each time it is involved in a challenge or an action does damage to it, and Support lets this card give its strength to another one of your characters when it quests, until the end of the turn.
