The new Yu-Gi-Oh set, Magnificent Monsters, brings with it the new Grand Master Rare serialized cards, and as a result, the sale prices for the iconic TCG have never been higher. It's proving incredibly hard to track, however, with most of the biggest sales taking place either privately or via eBay, which isn't always the most reliable source for tracking TCG sales. So, we're going to track the most valuable Magnificent Monsters cards right now according to the minimum value on Card Market, where the price we use is the cheapest a card is available for. With the set being so new and volatile, it's hard to find any completed sales, so this is the best chance at finding fair value early on. 10 Synchro Emergency (Grand Master Rare) $6,900 First up is Synchro Emergency, a trap card that lets you special summon a card from your hand if your opponent controls a monster and you do not, but you must negate the effects of the monster you summon. Card values are taken at the time of writing, meaning sales could impact the value by the time you are reading this. Then, if your opponent controls a monster special summoned from the Extra Deck, you may special summon a monster from your deck, but until the end of your next turn, you cannot special summon any monsters other that synchro ones from your Extra Deck. If a monster is destroyed by battle during your turn, you can activate a quick effect that lets you Fusion Summon one Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or the battlefield. 3 Favorite HERO Shining Flare Wingman (Grand Master Rare) $23,000 We're into the top three now, and first up is Favorite HERO Shining Flare Wingman. If you Special Summon this card from your Extra Deck, you can shuffle five monsters from your graveyard into your deck, then draw two cards, and if you do, Shining Flare Wingman gains 1,000 attack. 2 Dark Magical Curtain (Grand Master Rare) $26,000 In second place is Dark Magical Curtain, a spell card that lets each player Special Summon 1 DARK Spellcaster monster from their hand or deck, although neither player can activate the effects of the monsters this turn. Then, if you Special Summoned a monster whose original name is Dark Magician or Dark Magician Girl, you can add one Spell or Trap card that mentions Dark Magician from your deck to your hand, except for Dark Magical Curtain. Also, only one Dark Magical Curtain may be activated each turn. 1 Dark Magician, The Pharaoh's Servant (Grand Master Rare) $57,000 Finally, we have the most valuable card from Magnificent Monsters, Dark Magician, the Pharaoh's Servant, which is selling for well over $55,000 based on current listings. This card's name becomes Dark Magician while it is on the battlefield or in the graveyard. If this card is in your hand, you can reveal one Spell in your hand to Special Summon it, then set one Spell or Trap card that mentions Dark Magician from your deck.
