Heidi Katona takes brutal swipe at dad Mark Croft – 16 years after his split from mum Kerry

The 19-year-old has posted a video on the popular social media site where she lip-syncs to Kane West’s Call Me Nothing and puts her father on blast. She captioned it: ‘When my mum tries to give me relationship advice… but she literally married my dad.’ Heidi’s mum, the TV personality Kerry Katona, married Mark back in 2007; however, they divorced in 2011. Heidi’s followers found the video incredibly funny, with one commenting: ‘Sorry, but that’s Hilarious!! You and your mum are so solid!’ while another added: ‘You have your mother’s sense of humour. I love it’. According to The Sun, neither Heidi nor her younger brother Max has a relationship with their father. Despite this, Heidi is very close to her mum. ‘I couldn’t ask for a better mum,’ she told The Sun last year. ‘She’s my best friend – but I never tell her that, or I’d never hear the end of it.’ And Kerry is just as complimentary about her daughter, telling The Mirror in 2024 that Heidi is her ‘mini-me’. ‘Heidi is a mini version of me,’ she explained. ‘She’s so funny and quick, it cracks me up.I can see her on TV.’ Heidi and her mum Kerry (Credits: Ken McKay/ITV/Shutterstock) During that same interview, Heidi joked about the friction their similarities cause. ‘Me and my mum are really, really alike,’ Hedi said. ‘I think that’s why we clash sometimes because we’re so similar. But when we’re together, we just always laugh.’ Kerry and Mark’s marriage was notoriously turbulent, and she has been open that she struggled with drug addiction and her mental health in the past.
