Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds were forecast in 18 districts of Telangana for Tuesday (September 22, 2026) | Photo Credit: BY ARRANGEMENT The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall forecast for 14 Telangana districts for Tuesday (September 22, 2026).According to the IMDs latest bulletin, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool districts.ThunderstormsAdditionally, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.Hyderabad weather forecastHyderabad city for the next 24 hours will see a generally cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with intense spells at times accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city.
