'Heavy Burden' skulls and terminal locations in Halo Campaign Evolved

Published Jul 30, 2026, 1:01 PM EDT Time to put a stop to Harmony's experiments Image: Halo Studios/Xbox Game Studios via Polygon The "Heavy Burden" mission in Halo: Campaign Evolved has three skulls and one terminal to find, just like every other level in the game, and it's likely the very last level you'll play. It's the final bonus mission, coming after "Boarding Action" and "The Most Dangerous Game," and this time, Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson, together with Williams and her squad of UNSC marines, are putting an end to Harmony's project. Here are all three skulls and the one terminal location during "Heavy Burden" in Halo: Campaign Evolved. Skull 1: Eye Patch Description: All auto-aim is disabled for all weapons. Objective: Head for the Tolerance's bridge and retrieve the nav data from its starholo. Play through the mission until you eventually reach a long bridge with grunts and jackals on it. Before you walk on the bridge, there'll be a doorway to your left that leads to another bridge with a couple of elites. Take them down then walk to the end of the bridge to find the skull resting against the wall. Terminal: Harmonious Clarity Objective: Head to the hangar to regroup with Williams and UNSC survivors. After the cutscene on the bridge where you've downloaded the starholo data, don't follow Johnson up the slope. Instead, enter one of the two doors at the back of the room, then go through the next set of doors to find an armory. Stock up on weapons here, then go through the final door to find the terminal in the back left corner of the next room. Skull 2: Grunt Birthday Party Description: Grunt headshots produce legendary celebrations. Objective: Head to the hangar to regroup with Williams and UNSC survivors. You'll be fighting back through the ship for a while, but eventually you'll come to a three-story room with a tall rock formation visible from where you enter. The skull is sitting on top of it. To get to it, drop down to the floor below and stand on the brazier with the purple flame coming out of it, then sprint and jump. When you land on the rock, you can jump and pick the skull up in midair. Skull 3: Efficient Description: Enemies killed while the player is at full health drop more ammo. Objective: Head to the hangar to regroup with Williams and UNSC survivors. Eventually, your journey to reunite with Williams will bring you to a moving platform. Keep following the objective: stay on the platform, restore the power to it, jump back on. After you pass underneath the second bridge on this journey, the next area will have sections on both your left and right. Leap from the moving platform to the section on your left, then rush to the back-right corner. The skull is on the ground, next to the locked door.
