Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.Heated Rivalry took the world by storm when it premiered last year, but the hockey romance series is only just getting started. After already getting renewed for Season 2, Deadline has revealed that not only has the series been renewed for Season 3 early, but it is already starting filming, with Seasons 2 and 3 shooting back to back. And that’s not all, as in addition to two more seasons, Deadline has also learned that a Heated Rivalry movie is also in the works. Starring Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie (the latter of whom is reportedly in talks for the villain of Ryan Gosling’s Ghost Rider movie), the Crave original series follows two rival hockey players who are doing their best to level up in the notoriously aggressive sport. However, the more time the two players spend with each other, the more they start to develop complicated and unexpected romantic feelings for each other, leading to all sorts of complications for themselves and their hockey careers. After being picked up by HBO as a U.S. distributor, Heated Rivalry skyrocketed in popularity, even giving longtime hits like House of the Dragon and The Pitt a run for their money as a frequent No. 1 streaming chart topper. According to Deadline, filming for both Seasons 2 and 3 of Heated Rivalry are expected to wrap filming as early as this month/early December at the latest. Production on the movie is reportedly moving at a lightning-fast pace, with filming on it expected to begin right after in December. However, Deadline also reports that Williams and Storie will not appear in the movie, with the report suggesting that François Arnaud and Robbie G.K. will be the focus. This is a developing story; stay tuned for more updates.
