‘Heartstopper’ Limited-Edition Soundtrack Vinyl Box Set Sells Out, Second Pressing On the Way

After three seasons, the Netflix coming-of-age romantic comedy released its full-length finale film Heartstopper Forever on Friday (July 17). After the first edition of the set was put out for preorder, all available copies sold out immediately, and due to rabid fan demand, a second, unnumbered pressing is in the works. Explore See latest videos, charts and news “From the moment I finished watching the first series of Heartstopper, back in 2022, I knew we had to pitch the idea of releasing a soundtrack on vinyl, including the breathtaking score of Adiescar Chase,” said Mark Klinkhamer, head of product for Music on Vinyl in a statement to Billboard. “The series struck a chord with me and millions of other viewers. Adiescar’s music played such an essential role in the Series. It turned out, I had to be very patient, but finally here it is.” Now, with the feature-length Heartstopper Forever finale film dropping on Netflix on Friday (July 17), fans will get another chance to purchase the special 103-track deluxe 4LP set, which includes music from all three seasons, as well as the film. “Heartstopper has become synonymous with overcoming personal battles and fighting for friendship. More than just an LGBTQ+ series, Heartstopper has transitioned into a worldwide sensation, bringing people of all backgrounds together,” added Klinkhamer. “We are extremely proud we have had the chance to be part of this and create this deluxe box set for the fans of Heartstopper.” The British series based on a 2016 webcomic and 2018 graphic novel of the same name — written and illustrated by Alice Oseman — tells the love story of teens Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring, touching on their coming out, as well as the lives of their largely LGBTQ friend group, touching on themes of gender identity, mental health and sexual exploration.
