The restaurant has been serving customers in the East Midlands town for around 15 years and is known for Harvester’s signature salad bar and family-friendly dining. In a Facebook post, the restaurant wrote: “Today is our LAST DAY at Harvester Nene Valley, and honestly… we don’t know how to put into words how much your support has meant to us. “To every customer who has ever sat at one of our tables — THANK YOU.” The Northampton closure comes amid a wider review of Harvester’s restaurant estate. A Harvester spokesperson told the Northampton Chronicle: “This decision has been taken after careful consideration and as part of the continual review of our estate. “We are in consultation with the team and hope to redeploy as many employees as possible at our other nearby businesses.” News of the closure has left regulars disappointed, with locals saying they had many memories here.
