Heartbeat legend Tricia Penrose buys pub where she played iconic barmaid Gina Ward for 18 years

HEARTBEAT actress Tricia Penrose will forever have a piece of the show with her after buying the show’s iconic pub. Tricia is best known for pulling pints as barmaid Gina Ward in Heartbeat’s Aidensfield Arms for 18 years, and she has now acquired the real-life boozer, The Goathland Hotel. It’s very exciting xxxx.” The recognisable pub is located in North Yorkshire and was previously run by the same family for more than 41 years until it was sold to Tricia and her partners. The 56-year-old played the barmaid from 1993 to 2010 before taking a step back from the limelight. Prior to becoming a publican, Tricia worked as a radio presenter on Radio Wirral and starred on Celebrity Big Brother in 2013. Other than her impressive list of TV credits, Tricia also had a budding music career and released two singles in the early 2000s.
