THIS is the heart-stopping moment a dad drops his baby and toddler in a swamp while fleeing cops after allegedly crashing his car while drunk. Kinsey was seen in drone clips running through a wooded, swampy area – known to be infested with alligators – while carrying his kids. In the dramatic footage, he falls over multiple times as he tries to navigate the difficult terrain in the dead of night. Cops desperately searched the dense marshland and eventually arrested him following an urgent manhunt. Authorities thankfully located and rescued the two children. In the footage, one officer can be heard yelling: “Where are you? Come out this way, come out this way! Give me the baby now!” Both children were rushed to hospital to have their injuries treated. The suspect was also taken to a medical centre, cops added. Kinsey allegedly admitted to police he was intoxicated. He also allegedly said his driver’s license was suspended when he crashed his vehicle. Kinsey has been charged with eight misdemeanor offenses and three felony offenses, including two counts of negligent child abuse with great bodily harm. Police said: “This incident could have ended with the loss of two innocent lives. “The rapid deployment of LakelandPD’s drone technology, along with the persistence and teamwork of responding officers, helped locate the children in an extremely difficult environment and get them the care they needed. “There is no excuse for impaired driving. We are thankful these children survived and proud of the officers whose actions helped prevent an even greater tragedy.”
