HBO’s ‘Task’ Adds Rose Rollins & Carol Santiago To Season 2 Cast

EXCLUSIVE: HBO is expanding its recurring cast for Season 2 of Brad Ingelsby’s acclaimed crime drama series Task starring Mark Ruffalo, with Rose Rollins (Long Slow Exhale) and Carol Santiago as the latest additions. Based on an original idea by Brad Ingelsby, Task is set in the working-class suburbs outside of Philadelphia. In the first season, we saw Ruffalo’s Tom Brandis form a task force to track down a crew of masked robbers, led by a working-class family man, that were carrying out a series of violent crimes in the Philadelphia area. In Season 2, Brandis takes the helm of a new task force, but the deeper the operation runs, the harder it is to tell who’s the target. Task is created by Ingelsby, who returned to HBO following his work on Emmy-winning crime drama Mare of Easttown. Ingelsby is also writing, showrunning, and exec producing alongside Paul Lee and Mark Roybal for wiip, Jeremiah Zagar, Ruffalo, and Ron Schmidt. Nicole Jordan-Webber and Karen Wacker are co-executive producers. Rollins is repped by The Burstein Company, Innovative Artists, and Meyer & Downs.
