Harry Potter is arguably one of the most valuable media properties in the world, and its presence has never quite left the likes of Hollywood. Now, HBO, which has become well-known for its elaborate fantasy adaptations, is taking on the Harry Potter franchise and retelling the story in a way that's never been done before. In an interview with Deadline, Rafe Spall, who will be portraying Ron Weasley's father, Arthur, shared a major filming update for Harry Potter season 2. The second season is adapting the second novel in the series, titled Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Spall shared an update that seemingly confirms a particularly key scene has already been filmed. "I’m just feeling really lucky to be part of something full of amazingly creative, brilliant people, all working at the top of their game. There are fabulous actors involved. Katherine Parkinson and I play the Weasley parents, and to my mind, she’s one of the best actors in the world. She’s phenomenal. The other day it was me, her, Kit Harington, and Johnny Flynn. It was just fun." More to come...
