While the concerts have proven to be a roaring success, attracting celebs like Lizzo and Bruce Springsteen to the crowd as of late, eyebrows were raised ahead of the show on September 9. The gig came just two days before the 25th anniversary of 9/11, in which almost 3,000 people were killed when hijackers flew planes into the World Trade Center. Some Harry fans were given commemorative tickets last night, the artwork for which depicted a yellow vehicle flying over the Empire State Building. After images began circulating on social media, reactions were strong, to say the least, as fans noted the poor timing of the design choice during the week marking the lives lost in the devastating terror attacks. It’s likely to be another scramble for a spot in the venue after hundreds of thousands missed out on the chance to see Harry live this summer due to overwhelming demand and controversially high ticket prices. However, Harry’s team has assured everyone that ‘dynamic and platinum prices will not be used for this tour’, writing alongside an Instagram post: ‘Together, Together is taking measures to be more transparent on pricing for fans. ‘These are the base ticket prices we’ve set, then the total cost with estimated fees and taxes. We can’t wait to see you there.’ Prices start at £36.25 for reserved seating and go up to £251.25 for general admission standing. Harry is also introducing ‘Unpredictable Fun Tickets,’ described as a new initiative ‘designed to make shows more accessible to fans’. A limited number of tickets will be available for $20 in North America, £20 in the UK, and €20 in Europe. And the man himself has hinted that those who want to be there shouldn’t pass up the chance to try, as retirement could be on the cards. In his initial email, Harry, who is engaged to actress Zoe Kravitz, wrote that he found the concept of touring further ‘daunting’. ‘Being an artist is the only life I’ve ever known really, I have been doing this since I was 16 years old, and I feel like the luckiest person in the world to still be sharing these moments with you,’ he admitted. ‘Tomorrow’s announcement will be the final cities of Together, Together. After that, I don’t know what comes next for me, but I know that I’m excited to find out,’ he added, prompting speculation that he might not be seen on a stage again for a while. ‘I can’t wait for us to keep dancing with all our friends, I hope to see you there.
