"Harry's fans arrive ready to make their voices heard," HeadCount's executive director said. Harry Styles HeadCount It’s a “Sign of the Times” that Harry Styles and HeadCount helped get fans to the polls ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections. HeadCount, a nonpartisan organization that works to get people to vote, reports that its partnership with Styles during his historic 30-date Madison Square Garden residency resulted in 108,061 voter actions and 33,284 new voter registrations. HeadCount defines actions as things such as checking voter registration status, signing up for election alerts, or signing up to volunteer with the organization. “Harry’s fans arrive ready to make their voices heard,” HeadCount’s executive director Lucille Wenegieme said in a statement. “On Night 5, one fan sought out our booth on her 18th birthday to register the moment she was eligible. With Election Day [Nov. 3], our focus is making sure every fan we met at the Garden has what they need to cast their ballot securely and on time.” HeadCount was present at New York’s Madison Square Garden at co-branded tables in high-traffic concourses and via voter messaging on the video boards. The activations were staffed by volunteers who traveled from locations including Florida, Tennessee and Ecuador, helping get fans involved in the democratic process and giving away special-edition Together, Together voting postcards in exchange. This partnership extends a previously existing collaboration between Styles and HeadCount that has, in total, generated 90,992 new voter registrations and 319,901 actions. In 2022, Styles’ “Good to Vote” campaign registered more than 54,000 fans to vote, breaking HeadCount’s record for an artist-driven campaign.
