Haribo officially launches its first-ever chocolate bar across UK supermarkets next month

HARIBO has teamed up with another confectionery giant to bring a brand new chocolate creation to UK supermarkets. Shoppers will be able to get their hands on the cocoa delight from next month. UK customers will soon have the chance to try the fully loaded choc, which features Ritter Sport‘s signature milk chocolate and Haribo’s chewy Balla Bite sweets. Sign up for the Money newsletter Thank you! Each bite-sized piece combines a sweet and tangy taste profile, with hints of strawberry, cherry, apple, and lemon, mixed with the creamy cocoa. Launching in most major retailers from September, the new chocolate will be available at around 21,000 stores across the nation. Each 100g bar is set to be priced at £2, and will be available alongside Ritter Sport’s other flavours including Praline and Pistachio. However, the creation will remain a limited-edition treat, so it won’t be in stores for long. This comes as Ritter Sport seeks to expand its UK presence, with the aim to introduce more than one million shoppers to the German brand.
