Sign in to your TheGamer account Happy Wheels is a game that most likely everyone reading has experienced in one form or another, whether it be sneakily playing it on a school computer while you're supposed to be doing work, or watching one of the many huge influencers scream down their microphones as they have Timmy the child go flying into a bed of spikes. It's arguably the quintessential flash game, paving the way for others to come along and do their thing, and helping make the YouTube Let's Play scene explode as massively as it did back in the early 00s. However, times have changed, and Happy Wheels is seemingly trading in its status as a cult browser game for a proper Steam release. Happy Wheels Is Finally Releasing On Steam For those in the know, the website called Totaljerkface was previously the only home of Happy Wheels, but this new Steam release aims to change that. Thankfully, all the key aspects of Happy Wheels will go unchanged, as you'll still be able to make and share your own levels and play other user-submitted levels, and all the game's characters will still be there too. On top of that, if you have an account on Totaljerkface, it will be shared and integrated with the Steam release too, so no worries there about having to download everything again. The only real change that has been made is that the game will now feature controller support, and it will be completely ad-free, once it makes its way over to Steam on September 21. Unfortunately, we don't have a price for the title just yet, though I can't imagine it being particularly high since it's essentially free to play on a browser. That being said, I imagine there will be a small fee since the Steam version will be ad-free. So, if you're fancying a trip down memory lane during this busy September period, Happy Wheels will be there.
