Hanuman Ansh box office day 49: Film holds strong despite Nani's The Paradise

Even with Nani's The Paradise arriving in theatres, Hanuman Ansh continued its steady run at the box office on Day 49. The Vishal Chaturvedi directorial earned Rs 3.65 crore nett in India, taking its worldwide gross to Rs 377.05 crore and bringing it closer to the Rs 400 crore mark.According to trade website Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 3.65 crore nett in India on Day 49, across 6,729 shows. Its India gross collection now stands at Rs 340.55 crore, while the India nett total has reached Rs 288.33 crore.The film also added Rs 0.75 crore from overseas markets on Day 49. Its overseas gross collection now stands at Rs 36.50 crore, taking its worldwide gross to Rs 377.05 crore.The film has maintained its pace despite the arrival of new releases, including Nani's The Paradise. If the momentum continues, Hanuman Ansh could soon cross the Rs 400 crore mark globally.Hanuman Ansh gets tax-free status in Uttarakhand Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand government has decided to make Hanuman Ansh tax-free in the state. As per reports, the government will reimburse the State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) charged on tickets sold at cinemas and multiplexes.The decision comes as the film continues to draw audiences with its story based on the life of spiritual figure Neem Karoli Baba, also known as Maharaj Ji.Producer on the film's difficult journey Hanuman Ansh also had a challenging journey before reaching theatres. Producer Anupriya Nagar previously spoke about the film's financial difficulties during production and post-production.In an interview with ANI, Nagar said she joined the project during post-production after learning that the film had been completed but lacked funds for the final stages.She revealed that she invested her savings in the project because of her emotional connection with the story.
