Hana Stretton – “From”

Hana Stretton releases her second album tiarn this Friday. So far the British-Australian ambient-folk artist has unveiled "Stove," "Salt," "Seagull Theory II," and "As It Was Before This," and now she's back with another captivating preview called "From.""I made 'From' as a dark storm rolled over," Stretton explains. "I opened all the windows and recorded it with my dog Roo asleep next to me. I used a hairbrush for the guitar, played some synth and a tiny harp. I realize now that it's about how to weather our own storms without hardening. To keep reaching for warmth and kindness in our stubbornly sharp world."The otherworldly song is accompanied by a beautiful video sheathed in fog. It's directed by her sister Amelia Lander.
